DISH Player-DVRs
combine the power of Digital Video Recording (DVR) technology
with feature-rich satellite receivers to allow you to watch
TV the way you want and when you want. DISH Player-DVR receivers
feature DISH Network DVR Service*, an advanced digital television
recording and playback technology that lets you control how
you watch television.
Dish Network currently offers a free DISH TV DVR upgrade
for dual-room receivers. This allows subscribers to watch
two different programs in two separate rooms of a home.
HD DVR is provided with a variety of receivers. The most
popular, ViP722 gives increased recording capabilities to
its users. Nearly 55 hours of HD programming can be recorded
at once as well as 350 hours of standard satellite television
shows. The tuner allows for two different viewing options
for clients, either single HD mode or dual mode.
